⚠️ SafetyVery shallow waters even at high tide — pleasant for wading but less refreshing for swimming. Calm seas during NE monsoon. No dedicated lifeguards on most stretches. Water shoes recommended due to sea urchins, coral rocks, and sharp stones (especially at Paliton access trail). Check tide tables — low tide exposes sand flats with seaweed and mud. Avoid swimming during rainy season storms and rough seas. Tubod Marine Sanctuary (nearby) requires 50–100 PHP snorkeling fee.
