The Philippines' most perfectly symmetrical volcanic cone, Mount Mayon is a sight to behold in Albay. While climbing to the summit is restricted due to its active status, the surrounding trails offer fantastic views, lava fields, and opportunities for volcano hiking at lower elevations.
