The only place on Earth with reliable daily thresher shark dives. At Monad Shoal, dawn dives offer encounters with these rare sharks, which come to be cleaned by cleaner wrasses. Also home to white-tip reef sharks at Punta Burgos, manta rays, turtles, and excellent macro life. A diver's island with a laid-back atmosphere.
