One of nature's most spectacular marine phenomena—a permanent shoal of millions of sardines swirling just yards from shore at Panagsama Beach. The massive silver cloud pulses and shifts, occasionally blocking out the sun. Divers and snorkelers can swim inside the school, with the reef wall dropping from shallow coral into the abyss. Thresher sharks and turtles occasionally appear to feed on the mass.
