Historic Town of Vigan

Community vote

The best-preserved example of a planned Spanish colonial town in Asia. Established in the 16th century, Vigan's architecture reflects the coming together of cultural elements from the Philippines, China, and Europe. The cobblestone streets, capiz-shell windows, and heritage houses create a uniquely preserved colonial atmosphere. Carreta (horse-drawn carriage) rides along Calle Crisologo are a must-do experience.
